Ümit Ertaş

Prof. Dr. Ümit Ertaş graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Dentistry in 1994 and completed his PhD in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the same institution in 1999. He was awarded the title of Professor in 2012 and continues his academic career at Atatürk University, where he currently serves as Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

His main areas of expertise include maxillofacial surgery, orthognathic surgery, traumatology, cleft lip and palate surgery, and temporomandibular joint surgery. He has authored numerous national and international scientific publications and actively delivers lectures, seminars, and courses worldwide. In 2019, he established the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at Atatürk University Health Research and Application Center and continues to serve as its director.
