Ece Eden

Prof. Dr. Ece Eden graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 1988 and completed her PhD in Pediatric Dentistry in 1995. She became Associate Professor in 2000 and Professor in 2006. She has delivered lectures at numerous national and international congresses and has been invited as a speaker at FDI World Dental Congresses held in India, Poland, Argentina, and Sydney. 

She is the author of numerous scientific publications and translator of three books focusing on traumatic dental injuries, contemporary pediatric dental treatments, and minimally invasive dentistry. The second edition of the book “Evidence-Based Caries Prevention,” for which she served as editor and contributing author, was published in English by Springer in 2025. She currently serves as Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Ege University, with professional interests in preventive dentistry, minimally invasive approaches, and traumatic dental injuries.
